Lionel Messi has claimed that Argentina have been able to find an excellent coach in the form of Lionel Scaloni even if the public’s reaction has been completely positive. Scaloni is one of the youngest international managers at just 41 years of age. Most of his career may have been spending spree, but he has started being a manager with the Argentina national team. After starting out with the Argentina team as an assistant in the 2017-18 campaign, he was appointed as the caretaker in 2018 and the permanent role following suit soon.

Argentina international Marcos Rojo has opened the door to leaving Manchester United when the transfer window reopens in four months’ time. The defender made just six appearances during the course of the previous season and that trend has continued this season where he has yet to earn a single minute of playing time.

Speaking to reporters, Rojo confirmed that he had the choice of joining Everton before the English transfer deadline but the move did not materialise with the Red Devils and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deciding against the deal. I’ve been watching the best strikers in the world – Harry Kane, Aguero – once they miss a chance they just stay focused, keep going again and they get their goal. Griezmann looking forward to working with Messi at Barcelona

Barcelona’s newest signing Antoine Griezmann has said that he is looking forward to working with Lionel Messi on a day-to-day basis. The France international was strongly linked with the Blaugrana since the beginning of March and the club have eventually landed his signature after triggering the £108m release clause on his Atletico Madrid contract.

Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni has said that there are plenty of things to improve after the nation progress to the quarter-final stage of the Copa America. Argentina managed just one point from the games against Paraguay and Colombia, and they still managed to secure qualification for the final eight after a 2-0 triumph over Qatar.

Speaking after the game, Scaloni acknowledged that there were positives to take forward after the team played with confidence in the second half against the Asian champions.
