North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on signing Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez ahead of the winter transfer window which starts in a couple of weeks. This is according to the report from Fichajes which stated that the Argentina national team midfielder has become a hot commodity due to his impressive performances for Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are not the only ones interested in signing Guido Rodriguez from Real Betis. Fellow Premier League side West Ham United are also keen on the Argentina national team player as reported by the abovementioned media outlet. The interested clubs are expected to return for Rodriguez next summer if they don't sign him in the January transfer window.

Real Betis are not interested in selling Rodriguez for a small transfer fee as he still has a long-term contract at the club. Rodriguez has three years left on his contract at Real Betis. The Spanish La Liga club has a €30m asking price for Rodriguez. The Argentine footballer signed for Real Betis in a €3m deal at the start of last year.
Rodriguez, 27, has enjoyed immense success since he moved to the Spanish La Liga in 2020. He has made 65 appearances for Real Betis in all competitions in just under two years. The Argentina midfielder is a key member of the midfield unit under manager Manuel Pellegrini at his Spanish team. His performances for Real Betis earned him a place in the Argentina squad for the Copa America this summer and he contributed his own quota as the two-time world champions ended their 28-year wait for a major trophy by beating Brazil in the final.
Real Betis midfielder Rodriguez was an important member of the Argentina midfield on the way to the Copa America title.
