Argentina enjoying friendlies in Hong Kong

European national squads are competing against each other in the qualifying matches of the 2016 Euro’s but since Argentina cannot enter that tournament due to obvious reasons, the team of Gerardo Martino have been a number of friendly matches with their latest one being played at the Hong Kong Stadium in China as the Argentinean squad faced off with Hong Kong in a match that was dominated by the squad of Lionel Messi.

Argentina controlled the ball and the tempo of the match from start until the very end and had the 80% of possession which allowed them on launching a total of 14 shots on target meanwhile their opponents was unable to fire any real threatening.

Ever Banega, Nicolas Gaitan, Gonzalo Higuain and Lionel Messi all scored goals in this match which turned the scoreboard to 7-0 after 94 minutes had passed. Continue reading
